Design style: Eclectic — broad and diverse
Dream client: One who has a passion for life, not driven by one specific style and thinks outside the box
Client A wants a total overhaul. What’s your preferred way to start? Go over action steps to accomplish goals, set budget and time frame expectations
What’s your go-to paint color? Camel back
Where do you find inspiration for your work? Clients, magazines, nature
Interior trend you could have done without: Chintz! (A little goes a long way.)
Best work-related advice you’ve ever gotten: Listen well and repeat back to the client their wants and needs: “So what I’m hearing you say is…”
Best advice you could give someone beginning a design project: “Chunk it down.” Prioritize! Break down a large project into smaller tasks. Go over specifics—what the client really wants, deadlines, budget and expectations to make sure you and the client are on the same page.
